Hem Stories
Today marks the birth of a new Hem icon: T Shelf, designed by Italian super duo Formafantasma. The T Shelf is a love letter to highly skilled industrial production and a celebration of aluminum: It's cool with a perfectly anodized finish and is very, very strong. As versatile as they are resilient, the T Shelves are available in a range of different sizes and can be connected together to create endless configurations.

Knitting Boa Pouf
Our recently launched Boa Pouf is seemingly plain, but behind the surface the smooth shape-knit textile that covers the Boa Pouf is a milestone in technologically innovative furniture. Follow us as we step into the knitting factory in Austria, to observe the making of a Boa sleeve.
Behind the design:
Boa Pouf by Sabine Marcelis
The pouf is Marcelis’s inaugural design into our collection and her first foray into soft form furniture. This donut-shaped beauty is perfectly sculptural; a bold graphic form that interrupts interior landscapes with its faultless chunky geometry, available in three vibrant upholstery options: Sulfur Yellow, Cotton Candy, and Oatmeal. Read more about our collaboration with Sabine and the driving inspirational force behind the design.
