The pouf is Marcelis’s inaugural design into our collection and her first foray into soft form furniture. This donut-shaped beauty is perfectly sculptural; a bold graphic form that interrupts interior landscapes with its faultless chunky geometry, available in three vibrant upholstery options: Sulfur Yellow, Cotton Candy, and Oatmeal. The Puffy Lounge Chair, designed by Faye Toogood, is the first introduction of Hem’s Puffy seating collection, which will encompass a range of chair and stool products, offering a tactile new take on the enduring concept of steel-framed furniture.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Hem. We are thrilled to show off a new and improved version of ourselves. 

For the finalization of the Hem New York Studio, we commissioned design studio Chen Chen & Kai Williams to create a dedicated sculpture for the space — The Phalanx.

Our new home in Soho will showcase the brand’s collections in a creative setting alongside a site-specific sculptural installation by Brooklyn-based designers Chen & Kai.
